Trial traffic diversions at Marathahalli bridge came into force in December 2025 for metro work, and the U-turn at Doddanekundi Junction is banned for vehicles coming from the Marathahalli side.
As of December 2025Marathahalli was the worst-affected stretch of the ORR in the December 2024 rain event, and it remains the first place the corridor fails when it rains hard.

Bengaluru traffic police issued that advice in March 2026 while flyover approach widening runs from KR Puram to Hebbal and metro construction runs along Bellary Road at Kempapura Cross, Kodigehalli and Byatarayanapura. It is a police statement rather than an estimate, and it is the number we plan on.
Sadahalli is a worksite until about April 2027
A 700-metre underpass has been under construction at Sadahalli since January 2026 on a fifteen-month build. It will remove the only signal between Hebbal and the airport. Until then it is a diversion on the final approach, and it affects every locality in this list.
