The route
Elevated expressway, then the ring road to Hebbal
Electronic City elevated expressway to Silk Board, then the Outer Ring Road north to Hebbal and up Bellary Road.
The elevated expressway saves the first ten kilometres. Everything after Silk Board is ordinary Bengaluru.

Phase and gate. Electronic City Phase 1 and Phase 2 have separate entries and the campus gates close at different hours.
At Kempegowda International Airport

Collect your luggage and call your chauffeur. He brings the car to the lane and loads the bags. Fifteen minutes of waiting is included on every airport pickup.
Departures drop is at the terminal kerb. There is no entry charge for cars at Bengaluru airport.
Terminal allocation at Bengaluru moves between T1 and T2 more often than people expect. Check the terminal on your boarding pass rather than going from memory, and tell us if it changed.

Bengaluru traffic police issued that advice in March 2026 while flyover approach widening runs from KR Puram to Hebbal and metro construction runs along Bellary Road at Kempapura Cross, Kodigehalli and Byatarayanapura. It is a police statement rather than an estimate, and it is the number we plan on.
Sadahalli is a worksite until about April 2027
A 700-metre underpass has been under construction at Sadahalli since January 2026 on a fifteen-month build. It will remove the only signal between Hebbal and the airport. Until then it is a diversion on the final approach, and it affects every locality in this list.
Frequently asked questions
Should I book the night before for an early flight?
Yes. For any flight before 8am from Electronic City, book the previous evening. The 5am drive is 74 minutes and you want that settled before you go to sleep.
Where exactly will the car be at Bengaluru airport?

Can I book at short notice?
We suggest booking three to four hours ahead, and further ahead during peak hours. Shoffr is pre-booked only — there is no car-in-three-minutes button.
