Inner ring to Hebbal and NH-44
Koramangala through Ejipura or the Inner Ring Road to Indiranagar, then Hebbal, up Bellary Road past Yelahanka and Sadahalli to the airport trumpet.
The alternative — Silk Board and the Outer Ring Road east — is longer and, from Koramangala, almost never quicker.

Bengaluru traffic police issued that advice in March 2026 while flyover approach widening runs from KR Puram to Hebbal and metro construction runs along Bellary Road at Kempapura Cross, Kodigehalli and Byatarayanapura. It is a police statement rather than an estimate, and it is the number we plan on.
Sadahalli is a worksite until about April 2027
A 700-metre underpass has been under construction at Sadahalli since January 2026 on a fifteen-month build. It will remove the only signal between Hebbal and the airport. Until then it is a diversion on the final approach, and it affects every locality in this list.

Take 85 minutes as the peak-hour drive, add check-in, and work backwards. Bengaluru traffic police have been advising a two-hour buffer to the airport since the Hebbal and Bellary Road works began, and we would not argue with that.
