Bengaluru traffic police issued that advice in March 2026 while flyover approach widening runs from KR Puram to Hebbal and metro construction runs along Bellary Road at Kempapura Cross, Kodigehalli and Byatarayanapura. It is a police statement rather than an estimate, and it is the number we plan on.
Sadahalli is a worksite until about April 2027
A 700-metre underpass has been under construction at Sadahalli since January 2026 on a fifteen-month build. It will remove the only signal between Hebbal and the airport. Until then it is a diversion on the final approach, and it affects every locality in this list.

Why is the evening peak forty minutes worse than 5am?
Because the whole trip is on the Outer Ring Road east, which is the slowest corridor in the city at that hour. The fare is ₹1,500 whichever it turns out to be.
