Twenty real Hyderabad trips with the fare our booking system quotes for each. The IT corridor commutes are here, the Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills runs are here, and so are the railway stations, because a train arrival is the trip most worth getting right.
A city ride starts at ₹400 and the number does not move with the clock. No surge, no night charge.

A Hyderabad city ride starts at ₹400. Below roughly 12 km the distance stops mattering and every trip quotes the floor. Past that the fare tracks how far the car actually drives. Toll and parking are charged as used, at cost.
Hiring the car by the hour
If the car needs to wait for you, or the day has four stops in it, book by the hour instead of by the trip. ₹550 an hour in Hyderabad, with unlimited kilometres — no 80 km cap, no per-kilometre meter running in the background.
| Package | Fare |
|---|---|
| 2 hours | ₹1,100 |
| 4 hours | ₹2,200 |
| 6 hours | ₹3,300 |
| 8 hours | ₹4,400 |
| 10 hours | ₹5,500 |
| 12 hours | ₹6,600 |
- Unlimited kilometresYou are paying for the car and the chauffeur's time, not for distance. There is no 80 km cap and no per-kilometre charge to watch.
- Extension is ₹1,000 an hourIf the day runs long, the car stays, subject to availability. Tell the chauffeur rather than the app and it gets sorted.
- Free cancellation up to an hour beforeAfter that a ₹500 cancellation fee applies.
- Toll and parking are charged as usedAdded at actual cost, the same as a city ride.
How a city ride works
- Ten minutes of free waitingAfter that it is ₹100 per 15 minutes. The clock starts at your booked pickup time, not when the car arrives.
- Free cancellation up to an hour beforeInside the last hour it is ₹150. Once the pickup time has passed it is more — the exact figure is on each city page below.
- Toll and parking are charged as usedA city ride fare covers the trip. Any toll or parking on the way is added at actual cost. Airport transfers work differently — those quotes are all-in.
- The fare does not move with the clockShoffr has no surge pricing. The same trip costs the same at 10am and at 7pm. It changes only if you add a stop or alter the route.
In Hyderabad the charge once the pickup time has passed is ₹250.
Frequently asked questions
Why is Banjara Hills to Financial District so much more than Jubilee Hills to HITEC City?
Distance. The Financial District run is 30 km by the route the car takes, mostly on the Outer Ring Road. Jubilee Hills to HITEC City is 5 km. Once a trip is past about 12 km the fare tracks the distance.
I am arriving by train. Can the car meet me on the platform side?
Tell us which platform when you book. Secunderabad station has no parking on the Platform 1 side during the redevelopment — the Platform 10 side basement gives 15 minutes free — so knowing where you come out saves a loop.
Is the fare fixed?
Yes. Shoffr does not have surge pricing, so the fare is the same at any hour. It changes only if you add a stop or alter the route. Toll and parking on a city ride are charged as used.
Which car will I get?
A BYD e6 — a silent, Innova-sized electric SUV that seats 4 adults with 4 large suitcases. Same car every time.
Can I book at short notice?
We suggest booking three to four hours ahead, and further ahead during peak hours. Shoffr is pre-booked only — there is no car-in-three-minutes button.
Should I book a trip or hire by the hour?
Book a trip if you know both ends and you are going once. Hire by the hour if the car needs to wait for you, or if there are several stops. Hourly hire has unlimited kilometres, so a day of running around usually works out simpler.
Can I travel with my pet?
Yes — Shoffr is officially pet-friendly. Indicate pets while booking; a deep-cleaning fee of ₹500 for cats and ₹750 for dogs applies.

Going to the airport instead?
Airport transfers are priced differently — the quote is all-in, with toll and parking absorbed. Each Hyderabad locality has its own page with the fare and the drive time by hour.
