Hyderabad · Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (HYD)
HITEC City to Hyderabad airport
From Cyber Towers it is about 37 km to the airport, and the honest version is that the first three kilometres decide the trip. Cyber Towers Circle is the junction where Madhapur, HITEC City and the Kukatpally road all meet, and it is the single worst piece of the run.
Once the car is past Biodiversity and onto the ORR at Nanakramguda, the remaining 28 km behave themselves.
What it costs
Quoted for Cyber Towers on 1 August 2026. Your exact pickup address will shift it a little, which is why the button above gives you the real number for your trip.
Shoffr does not have surge pricing, so this fare is the same at 5am as it is at 7pm. It changes only if you add a stop or alter the route. What changes with the hour is how long the drive takes.
How long it takes
| Direction | Before 6am | Morning peak | Evening peak |
|---|---|---|---|
| HITEC City and Madhapur to the airport | 38 min | 38 min | 55 min |
| Airport to HITEC City and Madhapur | 35 min | 40 min | 46 min |
Predicted drive times for a weekday, sampled for a 5am, 9am and 7pm departure. Plan on the worst of them — 55 min to the airport — and add your check-in time on top.
The route
Outer Ring Road, western arc
Madhapur or HITEC City roads to Biodiversity Junction, down to the Nanakramguda ORR ramp, then ORR south to the Shamshabad interchange.
Biodiversity Junction and Raidurg metro are the same place on most maps, which catches out guests giving directions over the phone.
Where the car meets you
In HITEC City and Madhapur
Tell us the building rather than the area. Cyber Towers, Cyber Gateway, Mindspace and the Waverock campus all have separate gates and the difference is ten minutes at 9am.
At Rajiv Gandhi International Airport
Shoffr picks up from Point D, just past the Uber bay.
Collect your luggage and call your chauffeur. He brings the car to Point D and loads the bags. Fifteen minutes of waiting is included on every airport pickup.
Departures drop is at Level E, the upper forecourt. Cars may pull up to set down but not wait.
What is happening on this route
Cyber Towers Circle is the primary bottleneck for the whole corridor. Cyberabad police began adding free-left lanes at Cyber Towers and Wipro Junction from August 2026, which should help, but it has not been in place long enough for us to promise you a time saving.
As of August 2026The IKEA and Kothaguda stretch waterlogs badly and has open infrastructure works alongside. In monsoon the safe assumption is the evening peak number, not the off-peak one.
As of July 2026
Flying out of Hyderabad
The ring road is the reason the west side is predictable
The Outer Ring Road is grade-separated with no signals, a 120 kmph limit and an 80 kmph minimum in the fast lanes, and two- and three-wheelers are banned from it. Any locality whose route is mostly ORR — Gachibowli, Financial District, Kokapet, Manikonda, Kondapur — varies by only a few minutes across the whole day. Localities that cross the city do not.
2026 is a heavy construction year
The IIIT Junction flyovers on the IT corridor, the KBR Park package through Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills, the Mehdipatnam multi-level flyover at the mouth of the expressway, and the Uppal elevated corridor are all live at once, with completion dates from December 2026 to December 2028. Each locality page below says which of these sits on your route.
Charging is not a constraint here
There is a fast-charging hub at Shamshabad next to the airport with more than a hundred charging points, and a charger inside the airport car park. Our cars leave for your trip charged; the hub is what lets us run an all-electric airport fleet without ever asking you to wait.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the evening drive so much longer than the morning one?
Because the airport-bound direction out of HITEC City runs against the office exodus and through Cyber Towers Circle at exactly the wrong time. Thirty-eight minutes at 9am, 55 at 7pm, on the same route. The fare is the same either way.
Can the car pick up from inside the tech park?
Yes, where the park allows it. Give us the tower and gate when you book and the chauffeur goes to that gate rather than waiting on the main road.
Where exactly will the car be at Hyderabad airport?
At Point D, just past the Uber bay. Collect your luggage and call your chauffeur — he brings the car to Point D and loads the bags.
Does the fare change at 5am, or in the evening peak?
No. Shoffr does not have surge pricing, so the fare is fixed whatever time you travel. It changes only if you add a stop or alter the route.
Which car will I get?
A BYD e6 — a silent, Innova-sized electric SUV that seats 4 adults with 4 large suitcases. Same car every time, so you know what is arriving.
What happens if my flight is late?
Share your flight number when you book and we will do our best to keep the car waiting for you. Fifteen minutes of waiting is included and a small charge applies after that. If the delay starts to affect other guests' trips, we may have to cancel.
Can I book at short notice?
We suggest booking three to four hours ahead, and further ahead during peak hours. Shoffr is pre-booked only — there is no car-in-three-minutes button.
