Charging on the Hyderabad to Basara route
We leave Hyderabad at 100% and charge for about an hour at Nizamabad, roughly 35 km short of Basara. Basara itself has no charging at all, so Nizamabad is where the energy for the return leg comes from. It is a 120 kW round-the-clock station, so the stop is comfortable rather than anxious.

- Temple darshan runs 07:30 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 18:00. The midday closure is the trap — leave Hyderabad at 08:00 and you arrive inside it. We start early enough for the morning session.
- Aksharabhyasam is booked at the counter on the day, not online, and the child must be at least two and a half. Only the mother and father are admitted to the mantap with the child; every other family member pays separately to enter. Traditional dress is required.
- In August and September, releases from the Sri Ram Sagar Project can flood the approach road to the temple — it was completely submerged in 2025. If your dates fall in that window we will watch the river before confirming.
