Hyderabad to Kurnool cab, the easiest long drive out of the city

Kurnool is about 215 km from Hyderabad straight down NH44, the Hyderabad–Bengaluru corridor. Three and a half to four hours on four and six-lane highway with a good surface most of the way — the least complicated of all our Hyderabad routes.

Charging on the Hyderabad to Kurnool route

We leave Hyderabad at 100% and stop for about an hour at Beechupalli, roughly 50 km short of Kurnool. It is a manned 24-hour hub with several charging points rather than a single unit at a fuel station, which is the difference between a plan and a hope. Kurnool itself has a handful of fast chargers on the NH44 approach, so this is a well-covered route in both directions.

What to know about this drive

  • NH44 is the main Hyderabad–Bengaluru artery and stays fast throughout. The only real slow section is getting clear of the city, best done via the ORR Shamshabad exit.
  • The route crosses into Andhra Pradesh. Telangana removed its physical transport check posts in 2025, so there is no border stop to plan around.
  • Tolls are billed separately from the fare. There is no toll concession for electric vehicles on national highways, whatever you may read elsewhere.

How long does Hyderabad to Kurnool take?

Is a one-way drop available?

Yes. A one-way drop is priced for the outbound leg only. A round trip keeps the car and chauffeur with you, which suits a two or three day stay.

Yes, it is about 65 km further and a very common pairing. Tell us at booking and we will plan the timings around the temple's midday closure.

Is there a border check crossing into Andhra Pradesh?

No physical check post. Telangana removed them in 2025 and everything moved online, so there is nothing to stop for.

Will an electric car make it to Kurnool without running out of charge?
