How an arrival pickup works

Sign in with your own phone number — international numbers receive the one-time password — and book in a few minutes. The fare is fixed in rupees at booking and paid on an international card.

We track the flight. For an international arrival, set your pickup 45 minutes after landing — that is the buffer that comfortably covers immigration and the baggage belt at BLR.

Meet your chauffeur
With meet-and-greet, your chauffeur is at the arrivals exit holding a placard with your name. Otherwise, your chauffeur's name, number and car registration are shared before pickup, and the car meets you at the Terminal 2 pickup point.

What it costs
Airport pickups into Bengaluru start from ₹1,450 depending on where you are going, and every fare on this site comes out of Shoffr's own pricing engine rather than an estimate. There is no surge and no night charge, so the fare is the same at 2am as at 2pm. See fares and drive times by locality.

International cards are accepted
Pay with your usual international credit or debit card. You do not need UPI, an Indian wallet or Indian cash to ride with Shoffr.
You can sign up with your own number
The booking sign-in works with international phone numbers — the one-time password reaches a +1 or +44 number the same way it reaches a +91 one.
The price you see is in rupees, and it is final
The fare is fixed at booking and does not change with the hour you land. As a rough guide, ₹1,000 is about US$11, €10 or £9. (Approximate, August 2026.)
Arriving at Kempegowda International Airport (BLR)
You will arrive at Terminal 2
International flights into Bengaluru use Terminal 2 — the newer 'terminal in a garden'. Shoffr pickups at T2 are from the basement parking; your chauffeur guides you there after landing, and with meet-and-greet you are walked to the car.
The drive into town is the variable, not the fare
The airport sits about 35 kilometres north of the city, and the same journey can take under an hour at 5am or well over it in the evening peak. Shoffr's fare does not change with the hour — only the drive time does. A 700-metre underpass has been under construction at Sadahalli on the final airport approach since January 2026, so routes divert slightly until it opens.
Data, without the arrival scramble
The free airport Wi-Fi is unlocked with an SMS code, which is awkward with no roaming — information desks can issue access codes to international passengers instead. An eSIM bought before you fly avoids all of this, and the SIM counters in the arrivals hall work too but need your passport and some patience. None of it is required to find your Shoffr: the placard meet-and-greet depends on nothing.
Your options at BLR, honestly
Prepaid taxi counter
- Fixed fare, which is its genuine virtue — you pay at a counter, usually in cash, and hand the slip to the driver.
- You queue at the counter after a long flight, and the fleet is a mix of basic sedans and hatchbacks of varying condition.
- At 2am after a 10-hour flight, the counter queue and the cash are the tax you pay for that fixed fare.
Uber / Ola
- Often the cheapest option off-peak, and perfectly serviceable when it works.
- You need mobile data the moment you land, fares surge at night and in rain, and drivers can cancel while you stand in the pickup zone with your bags.
- The BLR pickup zones are a walk from the terminal, and surge pricing is at its worst exactly when the long-haul flights land.
Shoffr
- Booked before you fly at a fixed fare, on an international card, with your flight tracked and a chauffeur-driven electric SUV committed to your arrival.
- At BLR the car meets you at the Terminal 2 basement parking, or your chauffeur meets you at the arrivals exit with a placard if you add meet-and-greet.

Where exactly will the car be at Bengaluru airport?
